For one of our clients in the energy transition industry, we are looking for a Site Construction Planner.
Our client is a global engineering and technology company that specializes in large-scale energy and industrial infrastructure projects. It provides services including engineering, procurement, construction, and project management, with strong expertise in liquefied natural gas (LNG), petrochemicals, hydrogen, and carbon capture solutions. The organization plays a key role in supporting both conventional energy developments and lower-carbon technologies as part of the global energy transition.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Construction Planner to support the execution, reporting, and schedule management of a major industrial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining detailed Construction and Commissioning & Start-Up (CSU) schedules, preparing weekly dashboard reports, and supporting project delivery through close coordination with site construction management and project controls.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain detailed Construction and CSU schedules in Primavera P6.
· Prepare weekly planning dashboards and progress reports.
· Monitor and update schedule progress based on actual site conditions.
· Identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
· Support look-ahead planning and forecast development.
· Coordinate planning activities with construction management, contractors, commissioning teams, and project controls.
· Participate in site planning and progress meetings.
· Ensure planning deliverables complies with project procedures and reporting requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
· Minimum 7 years of industrial construction planning experience.
· Proven experience on large EPC or industrial projects.
· Strong site-based construction planning background.
· Expert user of Primavera P6.
· Advanced Excel skills.
· Experience with construction sequencing, CPM scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting, and recovery planning.
· Familiarity with commissioning and start-up activities is highly desirable.
· Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Candidate Profile
An experienced, hands-on Construction Planner who is comfortable working full-time on site and collaborating closely with construction and commissioning teams. The ideal candidate combines strong Primavera P6 expertise with practical field experience and can translate project progress into reliable schedules, reports, and management dashboards.
Assignment Highlights
