SHEQ Engineer

We a constant need for experienced SHE-Q officers to assist our clients on the offshore (renewable) energy projects globally.
It is your role to promote the awareness and understanding of SHE-Q policies within the offshore fleet management organizations, ashore as well as onboard.
 
Your work as SHE-Q officer is quite varied. Your main tasks and duties include o.a.:
–         Provide support to the project team for all QHSE related matters
–         Ensuring and verifying that corrective and preventive actions and solutions are actually implemented;
–         Assisting in root cause analysis of near misses and accidents;
–         Conduction of incident investigations;
–         Providing support to ensure that the SHEQ requirements are understood and is introduced into practice at all levels within the organization (office and/or vessels);
–         Providing reports on the performance of the fleet management system;
–         Collecting, recording and evaluating records;
–         Reviewing existing procedures as part of the system improvement feedback cycle;
–         Maintaining contacts with official bodies for vessel certification.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• You have a proven track record in HSE in high risk industries, preferably in Offshore Wind or Heavy Logistics
• Experience with Lifting Operations is an asset
• You have a valid Offshore certification – Full Basic GWO course
• You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• You speak English fluently.
