Project Manager

Accountability

As Project Manager you are (primary) responsible for managing all aspects of projects. This starts during the tender phase of a project to support the preparation of the bid. You assume full responsibility for the project from Contract award until Close out.

Your responsibilities are:

• Building and leading the project team and contributing to development of team members;
• Identifying and promoting continuous team improvement;
• Being the primary point of contact for the client on the project;
• HSE performance of the project;
• Quality performance of the project;
• Developing the project execution plan;
• Developing the project execution schedule;
• Optimizing the project cost and result, incl. identification of risks and opportunities;
• Documenting and completing change orders;
• Developing and delivering the project deliverables on time;
• Ensuring timely procurement and subcontracting and managing subcontracted scopes;
• Ensuring effective and efficient project material management;
• Internal and external progress reporting;
• Enforcing the management of change process for handling deviations from the contract requirements and HMC guidelines;
• Project risk management, including risk identification sessions and development of mitigation action plan;
• Ensuring adequate project controls;
• Ensuring lessons learned are systematically captured;
• Organizing and documenting the project close out;
• In the tender phase of a project developing and optimizing the budget and the execution plan and maximizing competitiveness.

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent;
• A minimum 5 to 10 years in Offshore industry and evidence of affinity with the project management role;
• You are result orientated and have excellent delegating skills;
• You have comprehensive understanding of offshore projects;
• You have good communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
• You are willing to work (temporarily) offshore or overseas.
