Duties:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting small-sized and less complex technical tenders, projects, and designs, while also contributing to medium to complex projects. Your responsibilities include:
· Technical Support: Independently providing comprehensive technical support to ensure projects are delivered in line with safety, quality, schedule, budget, and legal requirements.
· Specification Drafting: Creating detailed specifications and procedures to guide the realization of tenders, projects, and designs within contractual and organizational frameworks.
· Solution Development: Designing and developing innovative technical solutions that meet all stipulated requirements, offering optimal and low
· Supervision: Overseeing and evaluating the work of colleagues, subcontractors, and clients to ensure compliance with engineering and project requirements.
· Progress Reporting: Reporting progress on small projects and less complex technical tenders to both internal and external stakeholders.
· Deviation Management: Identifying deviations in time, resources, quality, or cost compared to planning and budget, and implementing corrective actions.
· Support and Advice: Assisting in tender and project execution, occasionally on-site, and providing logistical support.
· Process Improvement: Participating in continuous improvement initiatives for departmental processes, including engineering evaluations.
· Lessons Learned: Identifying lessons learned and ensuring the implementation of follow-up actions to enhance future project outcomes.
· Team Management: Leading small engineering teams, coaching team members, and contributing to performance appraisals.
Skills:
· Experience: 3–6 years of relevant work experience in a similar field, with knowledge of offshore operational processes.
· Technical Proficiency: Experience with relevant work methods, engineering techniques, and discipline
· Communication: Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
· ICT Competency: Advanced knowledge of office and planning applications; basic experience with drafting software.
Education:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
