For one of our clients in de Offshore Energy Industry we are seeking an experienced Inspection Coordinator.
Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm with global projects in the Oil & Gas and Renewable industries with a large number of projects in its portfolio for the coming years. They design offshore wind and hydrogen platforms, floating platforms, oil and gas platforms, floating solar farms, tooling and deck equipment, and structures such as electricity pylons.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinating inspection activities within the EPC environment, particularly in the oil and gas sector. The preferred industry is Offshore.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations. The Inspection Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency throughout the inspection process.
Accountabilities includes a.o.:
Ø Review of PO Requisitions for scope and extent of inspection.
Ø Coordinating, planning, and arranging inspection visits as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and in accordance with the contractor's latest Notification for Inspection Procedure.
Ø Assign external or internal inspectors/engineers to conduct inspection visits.
Ø Coordination and assurance of timely receipt, review, and approval of Inspection Reports and Punch-List.
Ø Coordination of follow-up activities reported by the Inspector, such as solving punch items and re-inspections.
Ø Review and approval of Inspection Release Notes.
Ø Coordination of activities between vendors and Yards (such as pre-commissioning and commissioning).
Ø Coordination and alignment of the overall consolidated punch list (with all outstanding punches from all Auxiliary Equipment orders) with the yards and vendors.
