We are looking for a Site (Office) Manager to support a project with our Client which is a leading global services provider operating in the dredging, maritime infrastructure and maritime services sectors.
This position will be based in the North of the Netherlands and manage all local site processes for equipment and personnel from site to ship and ensuring company's supply chain processes are properly executed at site location.
Duration and rotation:
This is an onshore position at a site location at the coats of the Netherlands.
Working hours will be 12hrs a day, 7 days per week. Work rotation to be planned around project. The overall duration of this project at site is approx. 2 months, starting 1st of April 2025 till 1st of June 2025
Preparation of the project starts beginning of March for approx. 2 days per week, from Client Head Office of home location contractor.
Day to day activities:
Ø Setting up and maintaining the site office and associated procedures. The site office will be used to support the execution of the project. Approx. 10 people will be working in the office, the office will be located in the port of IJmuiden.
Ø Taking care of the permits, local travel arrangements, accommodation, registration and safety meetings during crew changes. Timely informing relevant stakeholders.
Ø Coordinating logistics aspects at the project site during execution of the project, this involves crew transfers to vessels (incl. tower teams, termination and testing teams).
Ø Managing crew certification process through a web based certification management system.
Ø Processing project requirements (goods, services and resources) into demands and purchase orders.
Ø Being responsible for local stores, safe (un)loading and dispatching of goods.
Ø Ensuring required documentation is timely available for sending and receiving of goods.
Education level in work
Ø Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a maritime project environment
Ø Experience with logistic processes
Ø Experience with site management for inter array cable installation
Ø Experience with providing safety inductions and follow up of HSE behaviour
Ø Good command of English (written and spoken)
Ø Good skills in ICT Office application (word, excel)
Ø Average skills in ERP system
