Lead Electrical Engineer

For one of our clients in the Offshore Energy industry, we are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer.

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm with global projects in the Oil & Gas and Renewable industries with a large number of projects in its portfolio for the coming years. They design offshore wind and hydrogen platforms, floating platforms, oil and gas platforms, floating solar farms, tooling and deck equipment, and structures such as electricity pylons. They also provide solutions for platform decommissioning and modification. 

Responsibilities

As a Lead Electrical Engineer you will work in multidisciplinary project teams mainly positioned in the wind industry. You will be responsible for delivering the desired quality within the set period and budget of the electrical scope of the project. During the execution of the project, you will coach, guide, and manage your electrical engineering team.
In addition, you will ensure proper coordination with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and clients. Your role will vary from advising clients during feasibility studies to handling the complete detailed engineering of contracts.
You will report directly to the project manager/department manager.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience and two years of experience in a similar role.
• Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, supplemented with professional courses.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered an advantage.
