Expeditor

For one of our clients in the Offshore Energy industry we are looking for an Expeditor.

Our client has over forty years of engingeering and fabrication experience and they leverage the expertise to ensure safe, timely and sustainable delivery of jackets, piling templates and other offshore products.
Their comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations guarantuees that our client consistently approach all projects with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities
You will be a part of a team that manages the full supply chain of offshore construction—from design to offshore installation and you will play a crucial role in overseeing the flow of goods from purchase order to delivery at our offices, yards, or vessels. 

Goods Management: Oversee the flow of goods from purchase to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate arrival at designated locations. 
Reporting: Compile and report necessary information and documentation related to deliverables. Maintain equipment lists with status updates. 
Quality Control: Ensure consistent levels of expediting and quality control, monitoring progress based on required expediting levels. 

Daily Activities  

• Verify actual progress against planning and track completion status. 
• Update expediting information in the material management system. 
• Visit vendors to monitor progress on critical items. 
• Expedite transport for mobilization and demobilization of equipment. 
• Discuss progress deficiencies with subcontractors. 
• Prepare progress and expediting reports. 
• Assist with preparations and execution of general logistics 
• Represent the company in expediting matters to clients and internal parties. 

Requirements
We seek a driven colleague with an entrepreneurial mindset who excels in planning and organizing. You should be persistent, enjoy engaging with people, and have: 

• A vocational degree in logistics. 
• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and oral. 
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on ownership and results. 

Requirements
