Our client offers design, engineering, procurement, project management and consultancy services primarily to the offshore oil and gas, and civil construction sectors, both new build, conversion and upgrade projects.
Werkzaamheden
The Structural Topsides Design (STD) Discipline is responsible for the structural design of topsides facilities for floating and fixed offshore structures such as FPSO, FSO and MOPU.
As part of multidisciplinary project teams you will be responsible for making structural design calculations of offshore topsides structures, such as modules, helidecks, flare towers and hull integrations. The design calculations will be made using Finite Element software, in-house written software or hand calculations and will be based on international design codes. Part of your responsibilities will be reporting the results in calculation reports, interfacing with designers, other disciplines, procurement and construction.

Profiel
A BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering is required, as well as approximately 4 years experience in structural engineering, preferably in the offshore industry.
