The naval architecture department of our client is responsible for the overall deisgn and engineering of typical ship and offshore structures like drill ships, FPSO hulls, semi submersibles, pipe laying vessels, windmill installation vessels and crane vessels.

You will be responsible for the design and analysis of offshore units. Your work will include concept and basic design of offshore units and involvement in EPC projects with responsibility for supervision of detailed design and specification and selection of equipment.
Design and analysis include general arrangements, line plans, design calculations including stability, speed/power and dynamic positioning analysis. The focus of you work will be on the definition and determination of the overall design of the vessel and translation of functional requirements into feasible design.

Permanent position.

MSc or BSc degree in naval architecture or hydronamics and at least 4 years experience.
Knowledge of stability and design software (SeaSafe, PIAS, Rhinoceros 3D) is an advantage.
