- Participate in, and contribute to the asset management team;
- To develop and implement alternative maintenance strategies;
- Identify, propose and implement possibilities for continuous improvement and overall effectiveness;
- To manage and coach the systems management team;
- Develop and maintain an optimal relation with suppliers and subcontractors to ascertain adequate support;
- To ensure availability of the Aegir in optimal condition, meeting Class conditions and operational criteria to fulfil the requirements of the organisation in a cost-efficient, effective and safe manner;
- Co-ordinate with VMT and Operations department the planning for R&M and Investment programs in order to limit critical maintenance time;
- To plan and control the annual-, 2 and 3 years look-ahead budgets for R&M and Investments;
- Ensure adherence to Company policy and external party requirements;
- Manage the daily interface between the asset and offices.

Profiel
- BSc in Engineering or equivalent;
- Excellent people management and team building skills;
- Knowledge of maintenance methodologies and systems related to offshore vessel and mission equipment;
- Knowledge of Safety, Health & Environment and Quality Systems;
- Knowledge of flag state, class and certifying authorities rules and regulations;
- Awareness of maritime and business legal aspects;
- Leadership skills and business acumen;
- Excellent communication in English.
