For a client who provides first class marine transportation and construction services to the offshore oil and gas industry, we are looking for several structural engineers.
Werkzaamheden
As Structural Engineer you support project teams with calculations for constructions and the development of methods and procedures for installing and transporting.
Key responsibilities are:
• To prepare and update work packs of procedures methods and drawings for various phases of the work.
• To resolve technical queries and recommend alternative.
• Solutions to engineering problems related to structural elements.
• To prepare detailed calculations on project related subjects such as rigging, padeyes, seafastening and barge grillages.
• To produce material take-offs with sufficient information to meet the required technical, quality and safety standards.
• To ensure compliance with engineering standards and relevant codes.

Periode
This is a permanent vacancy.
Profiel
•Higher Technical College (HTS)/Technical University (TU) Civil Engineering, Maritime Design or Mechanical Engineering specialised in steel structural design or equivalent.
•2 to 3 years experience with installing offshore constructions.
•2 to 3 years experience with installing offshore constructions.
