Senior Project Engineer Innovation

The goal of the Innovation department is to add value to the company and our clients by providing innovative solutions in our niche markets and to investigate and develop new product-market combinations.

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution and coordination of innovation projects. You will translate market opportunities into technical enablers and deliver effective innovation proposals to the Board of Directors.

- Initiating and leading innovation projects;
- Translating market opportunities into technical enablers;
- Monitoring relevant technical developments in the market;
- Preparing technical and economical feasibility studies;
- Initiating and maintaining industry contacts.

- Strong analytical, project management and presentation skills
- 10-15 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
- Experience with conceptual designs of (pipelay and offshore) equipment
- Experience with qualification of new technology
- The ability to provide structure to unstructured scopes of work
- Experience with deepwater installation and/or removal projects
- Know-how of operations research and/or workflow optimization
- A valuable industry network and the ability to network across departments
- Experience with creating and presenting cost/benefit analysis and business cases;
- Good command of the English and Dutch languages;
- A MSc degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
