Jr. Safety & Loss Prevention Engineer

- You are involved in the process safety management activities on projects related to Floating Production Units both related to oil and gas production;
- For a specific project these activities include: the initiation and development of the hazard management plan, project specific hazard management, interface with safety consultants, co-ordination of and participation in technical reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, API 14J Compliance, IEC 61508/61511), liaison with classification societies and clients on engineering, certificate or flag related issues;
- The projects will range from conceptual studies to Front End Engineering;
- During conceptual studies you will be involved in activities such as risk assessments, consequence modelling and process hazard analysis.

Profiel
- MSc or BSc degree (TU/HTS) or equivalent level of education obtained through relevant experience or courses with at least 2 years experience in the field of Health, Safety and Environment related to the oil and gas industry;
- Furthermore a Safety Engineer needs to be able to work as a team member in a project as well as work independently;
- Above-mentioned vacancy requires the following qualifications;
- A pro-active approach; taking initiative; problem solving and creative thinking; professional communication in English (verbal and written); conversant with MS Office applications; willingness to travel;team player.
