SAP Application Manager

The IT Department manages the global IT infrastructure by providing secure data access, communication and collaboration facilities independent of time and location. The IT Department is able to design, build and maintain all applications that support the business processes.

•Analyze and consolidate user requirements, prepare change requests where appropriate;
•Prioritize change request in consultation with key-users and process owners;
•Coordinate handling of functional incidents;
•Ensure and facilitate testing and acceptance process executed by key users;
•Ensure correct functioning of application controls, user authorizations and security setting;
•Organize and monitor master data management;
•Responsible for SAP related knowledge management, documentation and training materials;
•Keep applications in line with global and local business processes and changing requirements;
•Research emerging developments in SAP and advise management on application;
•Advise and assist users and management on the proper use of the system;
•Ensure instructions and training for new employees;
•Responsible for operational service level management with external service providers;
•Assist end users in adapting changes in the system;
•Lead SAP key user community;
•Lead and negotiate project with conflicting internal interests.

•Bachelor degree or higher;
•Minimal of 5 years of business and IT related experience in an international environment;
•Relevant support or consultancy experience in SAP, preferably in FI/CO/PS;
•Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing;
•Service oriented organizational skills and excellent communicator;
•Willing to travel when needed.
