The preparations require among other marine analysis, structural analysis and equipment design expertise. Next to that methods and procedures are developed and engineered. For large equipment new-built/modification scopes, dedicated project teams are set up. The department is directly involved with the preparation and execution of projects offshore on an international scale.
In order to support the often technically challenging projects we are looking for a Sr. Marine Engineer to perform Marine engineering in a multi discipline team in support of the offshore operations.

-Perform Marine Engineering analyses according to correct methods, procedures and standards;
-Provide support to Project Teams to solve technical challenges related to Marine Engineering;
-Advise Vessel Management Teams offshore on Marine Engineering issues related to the offshore operations;
-Evaluate offshore monitoring programs to improve the Marine Engineering analyses;
-Challenge approaches in current business to improve the Best Practice;
-Improve the level of knowledge of the Marine competence.

-BSc or MSc Degree in Civil / Maritime / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent;
-Relevant experience in performing hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analyses;
-Know-how of motion response analysis in time and frequency domain, including statistical post-processing;
-Insight in the dynamic behavior of vessels during offshore operations to identify critical issues;
-Good command of the English and Dutch languages, both spoken and written;
-To be prepared to work temporarily offshore on our vessels or overseas.
