Manager Planning

The objectives of the Planning department are to provide specialist planning services relevant to the preparations and execution of all projects. Furthermore the schedules have to be of highest possible quality to support the competitiveness of tenders.
The Manager Planning reports directly to the Manager Projects and maintains close contact with all of his clients such as: Project management, Technology, Asset management and Tenders & contracts. Together with the lead planners, the Manager Planning has to ensure that the company requirements are met. Based on constant workload evaluations and (internal) client demands, optimum allocation of personnel is one of the highest priorities.

- Set-up and maintain standards & quality assurance of all planning information;
- Manage the department and its human resources in an effective and cost-efficient way;
- A growth from 20 to 30 FTE’s is expected for 2012
Ensure that an effective planning system is available to the Company;
- Create and maintain an external network with subcontractors and services for the supply of resources and consultancy;
- Investigate, establish and support an interface of Planning systems with other departments, like HR and Finance, to improve working methods;
- Initiate activities, plans and procedures to improve the ability, efficiency and profitability of the Planning department.

- Bachelor Degree Nautical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering;
- Good practical and theoretical knowledge of Transportation & Installation techniques
- Minimum of 10 years experience in business processes;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preparing, monitoring and supporting project planning;
- Experience with planning techniques and software development;
- Experience on an offshore vessel;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Management function.
