For our client, who's core business is the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems for FPSO’s and offloading buoys and smaller jackets and topsides, we are looking ofr an Installation Engineer Offshore.
Werkzaamheden
The Engineering Department consists out of an energetic and enthusiastic group of Engineers and Draftsmen. Together with coworkers from Project Management you will, as a team, be responsible to bring your project to a successful conclusion.
As an Installation Engineer you will be responsible for the performance of installation engineering; work method determination, deck lay out set up; installation calculations (stability, strength etc.). Based upon the mentioned analysis you will prepare the installation (work) procedures. You will also be solving problems and coming up with creative ideas to reach the goals set.
You will liaison with the clients on technical issues, but also with the Operations Department and vessel marine crew on operational issues. During the vessel mobilization, demobilization and offshore project execution you will support the vessel.

Profiel
For this position we are looking for some one who:
• Has general knowledge of the offshore industry, basic knowledge of rules & regulations applicable to offshore transportation & installation works
• Has basic knowledge of marine engineering, structural engineering, vessel dynamics and sub sea installation engineering
• Knows the basics of AutoCAD
• English and Dutch fluently both in word and writing;
• Has approx. 2-5 years (applicable) experience in marine industry, preferably in sub sea construction
Knowledge of Orca Flex and Naval Architecture skills would be advantageous. Also practical experience on board installation vessels during offshore project execution is preferred.
