Mission Equipment Electrical Engineer

In order to support the development of the Mission Equipment, we are looking for a Mission Equipment Electrical Engineer, who will support the Project Engineers with the verification, review and management of all Mission Equipment Electrical Cabling and Equipment as developed and supplied by the various subcontractors and vendors.
Werkzaamheden
-Taking ownership of Mission Equipment Electrical systems from design thru to testing;
-Management of all interfaces between the Vessel- and Mission Equipment Electrical systems, both during design phase as during fabrication, commissioning and testing phases;
-Ensuring flawless Mission Equipment operation during in/offshore testing and first project, and that Asset Management crew is trained in operating Mission Equipment Electrical systems;
-Develop a good working relationship with Mission Equipment Subcontractors and Vendors, as well as with the Shipyard and the HOS supervision team at the Shipyard;
-Act as HOS Site Representative during Mission Equipment Electrical systems testing, and act as mission Equipment Representative during Vessel Electrical system testing.

Profiel
-Nautical Engineering degree or Bachelor/Masters degree in Electrical & Control Engineering;
-A minimum of 5 years working experience in the marine- and/or offshore industry;
-Experience with pipe-lay systems and/or pipe-lay vessels will be beneficial;
-Willing and able to travel within The Netherlands and abroad;
-The preferred candidate is able to start on 1 January 2011 in a permanent position.
