Engineer Pipelay

For our client, who specializes in the design, transportation, installation and removal of all types of fixed and floating offshore structures in shallow and deep water, we are looking for an Engineer Pipelay.

The Technology department of our client is responsible for the technical preparation necessary for fixed/floating platform installation and removal, pipeline and sub sea installation projects. Together with colleagues and clients, the engineers work in dedicated multi-discipline project teams in order to provide constructive and workable solutions for these technically challenging projects.
Within Technology the Subsea Infrastructure and Pipelines (SIP) department is responsible for the Technical preparation of Subsea Installation scope. The focus is primarily on the Installation of Heavy and complex infrastructure in very deep water. This involves Insulated flowlines, Export lines, SCR’s and Vertical Riser systems.
In order to support the often Technically challenging projects we are looking for an Engineer Pipelay with experience in Subsea installation and with particular focus on pipelay.

Your daily activities will be:
* Make advanced pipelay analysis.
* Develop safe and efficient installation methods.
* Work in a project team and be responsible for technically preparation of the project.
* Responsible for technical deliverables in a subsea project scope.

You have:
* BSc or MSc Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
* Relevant experience with preparation for subsea installation projects.
* Experience with deep water reel-lay and pipelay projects.
* Experience with offshore execution of the work.
* Good command of the English languages, both spoken and written.
* To be prepared to work temporarily offshore on our vessels or overseas.
