The Asset department is responsible for the Operational management of the fleet and her crew. Together with the crew and project management Asset department ensures a perfect preparation and execution of projects. To ensure optimum utilization of the fleet and her crew the department works closely together with all Asset related departments, H&R en Business development. Asset department directs the planning of each vessel and mobilizes personell and equipment in time for Project execution. Asset Department supports projects and vessels worldwide and works close together with local authorities and ships agents.

- Daily management of logistics department;
- Preparation of mid and long- term logistical plans;
- Provide logistical budgets for tenders, projects or internal clients;
- Monitor logistical progress to vessels and yards;
- Verify and approve invoices of logistical service providers;
- To identify clashes in utilization of HMC owned equipment and propose solutions;
- Support procurement department with the arrangement of transport contracts and give advice on solutions;
- Back-up of Section Head Logistics.

- Bachelor or Master degree logistical/ nautical management;
- Good practical and theoretical knowledge of logistics and planning techniques;
- Good awareness of (maritime) legal aspects with respect to vessels, barges and equipment;
- Good practical knowledge of Safety, Health & Environment and Quality Systems;
- Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken;
- Minimum 5 years experience in offshore transportation and logistics environment.
