As a Procurement Department we are involved in all procurement matters for all our offices and vessels. We aim to get the best value for the best price. The large EPCI projects add highly complex and high value procurement involvement for long periods of time. To strengthen our Procurement department we are looking for a Buyer for one of our four crane vessels, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager Assets.
Werkzaamheden
- Review requisitions/scope of work and requirements for tender and internal clients;
- Request for quotation of vendors and procure various materials and services for vessels and other operational activities;
- Materials need to be procured cost efficient, in time and on the right location according to requirements and acceptable terms and conditions.
The Procurement Department works closely with the Asset Department and the Buyer is expected to liaise and provide (price) information for projects, tenders and the Asset Department. Next to that you document and control commitments, evaluate bids of vendors and subcontractors and produce spend analysis and recommendations. You also evaluate vendors, keep the material system updated and monitor performance

Profiel
A technical oriented degree (MTS/MBO+)
- A minimum of 3 years experience in procurement services;
- A NEVI I degree;
- Awareness of offshore practices and (maritime) legal aspects with respects to goods;
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch.
